TERMS

Who we are

The Booking Box Daily and whobooksyou.com are run by KitsiGuard (Pty) Ltd, registration 2019/387087/07 (“we”). These terms apply when you use either site or subscribe.

What the service is

Each morning we run a Google search for each hotel on your list, on a phone, from that hotel’s city or town, and report what Google’s booking box showed: who sold the room and at what price. We read Google’s public results as they appeared at that moment. Prices change during the day and differ by date and device, so the report is what Google showed then, not a promise of what a guest will pay.

We don’t connect to your booking system and we don’t see your bookings or your guests.

The free mornings

A trial covers 3 mornings per hotel, free, with no card. Your editions from those mornings stay on your account. The search stops after the third morning unless you subscribe.

Subscriptions and payment

Prices are shown on the home page in your region’s currency, per month or, on every package but Lite, per year. A subscription renews each month, or each year if you paid yearly, until you cancel.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payments in rand go through [the South African payment provider, T79] instead. [To confirm with the company’s adviser.]

Cancelling

You can cancel any time from Settings. Your subscription runs to the end of the month or year you paid for, and your editions stay readable after that. See the refund policy for money back.

Fair use

Use the service for your own hotels, the hotels you manage, and the competitors you watch. Don’t copy our data in bulk, resell it, or try to get around the limits of your package.

Our responsibility

We take care to report what Google showed accurately, but we don’t guarantee it, and decisions about your rates are yours. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. [To confirm with the company’s adviser, including consumer law where it applies.]

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of South Africa. [To confirm with the company’s adviser.]
